Everyone looks for tasty and healthy salad, here comes the Chicken Broccoli Salad which taste good. Try doing this salad at home and make you adorable one happy and also keep them healthy. Check out the ingredient below for making this healthy delicious chicken broccoli salad.

Ingredients For Chicken Broccoli Salad:

  • Chicken – 250 grams
  • Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
  • Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
  • Some water
  • Broccoli – 1 ahead
  • Mayonnaise – 1 cup
  • Apple cider vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • Carrot – 1 grated
  • Few almonds – thinly sliced
  • Freshly crushed black pepper
  • Onion – 1 thinly sliced
  • Some cranberries or few raisins (optional)

Preparation:

  • In pressure cook add the chicken pieces, if it is boneless then it is well and good.
  • Pour little water, sprinkle some salt, Italian seasoning, chilli flakes and a pinch of turmeric powder.
  • Close the pressure cooker and cook the chicken for about 4 whistle.
  • Meanwhile take a pan and pour enough water to boil the broccoli.
  • As soon as the water gets boil put the fresh broccoli pieces into it and close the lid to blanch it for a while.
  • Once the broccoli is blanched, turn off the stove and cool them.
  • In the meantime check out the chicken. If the stock is still left then reduce them by cooking the chicken in medium flame, once the stock gets reduce completely.
  • Cool the chicken and shred them into pieces and keep it aside.
  • To make dressing for chicken broccoli salad, take a bowl add the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, a pinch of salt and freshly crushed black pepper. Mix everything well.
  • Now roast the sliced almonds in a pan once it slightly turns color. Keep it side wise.
  • Take a large bowl add broccoli, shredded chicken, grated carrot, thinly sliced onion, dried cranberry or raisins it is optional.
  • Add the few toasted almonds and at this stage pour the dressing on it which we made.
  • Combine altogether and refrigerate them for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • After refrigerated them take out the healthy chicken broccoli salad. Cool them for about 5 minutes, then it is ready to serve for your lovable one.
