This recipe is really exciting and awesome that holds the Indo Chinese style. Chilli prawns which can be served as a starter, also as a side dish for fried rice, noodles and even for simple pasta. You can make the Indo Chinese chili recipes in several ways however we are gonna try it with quite simple met still delectable.

Chilli Prawns recipe involves two process, initially frying up the prawns and then to make the sauce which makes our dish delightful. With no wait let us check out the ingredients and the methods that is involved to create this dish. If you are a prawn lover then this dish is a must try one!!!

Chilli Prawns Ingredients

  • Prawns – 1/4 Kg
  • Oil for frying
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Maida – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • A few cloves of Garlic finely chopped
  • Ginger finely chopped
  • Green Chillies – 2 nos
  • Capsicum – 1 no chopped
  • A few Spring onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce – 1 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp

Method

Marinating the Prawns :

  • Marinate the prawns with the juice on one lemon. To that add half teaspoon of salt and pepper.
  • To make it yummier add one tablespoon of Soy Sauce and Chilli Sauce. Mix it well and let the marination sit for up to 30 minutes.
  • After a while, we need to add a little cornflour and Maida in order to fry the prawns. Coat the prawns completely until all the flour and the sauce gets inside the prawns.
  • Then heat up the oil for deep frying the marinated prawns. Gently drop the prawns and fry it up. Keep them aside

Making of Sauce:

  • The next set up is to prepare the sauce for this delicious chilli prawns.
  • Take a wide saucepan. Heat one tablespoon of oil. To that add finely chopped garlic, ginger and green chillies.
  • To this adding flavour, we going to add finely chopped Capsicum and Spring onions. Saute everything well.
  • To the above now we are going to add salt and pepper for taste.
  • Enriching it better add the Soy Sauce, Chilli Sauce and Tomato Ketchup. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • At this point, if the time you need to dilute two tablespoons of cornflour with little water and add them to the sauce that we are preparing.
  • Now the tasty chilli prawns are almost done and finally, you need to add the fried prawns and Saute it well in the sauce. Make sure each and every prawn is coated well with the sauce.
  • Making our dish look grant and mouth-watering we are going to garnish it with few-spring onion stock.
